Free Will Offering Sale
The Craft Fest Committee and the Heavenly Cents Thrift Shop at the First Congregational Church of Essex Junction is holding an outdoor Nearly New Sale on Saturday, August 19th from 9-1. No early birds please.
Donations can be dropped off at the church from 7-9 am.
Information for donations:
- Furniture will be accepted and if not sold will be put out for free.
- If the furniture is still not taken by Sunday, we ask you to come back and pick it up.
- We’re accepting books again this year. We will accept cookbooks, fiction, non-fiction and children’s books. We will NOT accept text books or instruction books.
- The Thrift Shop will be open to accept clothing donations.
- Stuffed animals won’t be accepted
The Missions Committee will be holding a bake sale during the event. All proceeds will benefit the VT Refugee Resettlement program.

To the members of the First Congregational Church of Essex Junction,
GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST:
The Annual Meeting of the First Congregational Church of Essex Junction will be in the Sanctuary and via Zoom (using this web link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82278309940 ) on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at 11:15 A.M. to act upon the following business:
Article I: To hear and act upon the reports of the Church Officers, Committees and Recognized Groups of the Church.
Article II: To act and vote upon the proposed budget for 2023.
Article III: To elect all church officers and committees required by the by-laws of the Church and others as may be necessary.
Article IV: To discuss and vote on which Staffing Configuration Model our church will use going into the future.
Article V: To see if the Church will authorize the Finance Committee to borrow money and sign notes pledging the credit of the Church, if needed, to meet the current expenses of the Church.
Article VI: To transact any other business which may properly be brought before this Annual Meeting.
