The Community Concerts at First music series celebrates amazing artists from Vermont and New England. Community Concerts at First is an opportunity for the Essex community to gather and enjoy great music together.

presents music by Clara Schumann, Robert Schumann & Ludwig van Beethoven
Vermont pianist Claire Black will perform our inaugural concert on Sunday, May 15 at 7pm. A classical pianist with a vibrant history of performances as a soloist, chamber musician, and accompanist, Ms. Black will present a program of solo piano music by Robert and Clara Schumann and Ludwig van Beethoven. Ms. Black trained at the Cleveland Institute of Music and Baldwin Wallace University. The concert program will highlight the gorgeous sound of FCCEJ’s newly acquired 2001 Steinway B piano.
Join us on Sunday, May 15 at 7pm! Suggested donation of $20 per adult (under 18 free). Cash, check and credit card accepted. Online reservations can be made via PayPal using the button below. Please be aware that online donations processed by PayPal will be reduced by 2.2% with an additional $0.30 per transaction fee. If you wish to increase your donation to cover the cost of this convenience fee, we would greatly appreciate it. Concert proceeds will support the First Congregational Church of Essex Junction and our community partners.
