Communion
We will continue to have communion on the first Sunday of each month but will do so differently
due to our service being live streamed. Instead of having the bread and juice provided, we ask
that EVERYONE BRING THEIR OWN bread and juice or its equivalent. Some might bring
crackers and water, others oreos and cokes…..it is not the substance that matters but the way in
which you use the substance to remember Jesus, the Last Supper and God’s love for you.
Sunday, March 29th, 2020: Teleworship
Before our teleworship service, consider these questions. We ask that people forward their answers to Rev. Mark during teleworship @ 802 922-1773.
1. For what are you thankful?
2. For whom should we pray? You? Your family and friends?
We will also ask parents to inform us if their child is present and, if so, how their child answers the questions broached during the Children’s Message.

It is a unique situation to have our Senior Pastor’s spouse be an ordained American Baptist Minister serving the First Baptist Church of Burlington. Over the years, Rev. Karen Mendes has blessed us by her preaching. In the last couple of years, she and our own Rev. Mark Mendes have exchanged pulpits so that when Rev. KAREN Mendes is here, Rev. MARK Mendes is preaching at the First Baptist Church. This will happen on February 16th at both services. You do NOT want to miss this. Rev. Karen is a great preacher and brings gifts beyond measure.
